Introspect is a surreal adventure game about a man confronting his personal demons. The game was built in the free version of Construct 2. The free version of Construct 2 gives you the equivalent of about 200 lines of code, so working on this game was a rewarding challenge. A fun exercise in getting as much as possible out of very little.
I managed to cram in branching dialogue and an inventory system with plenty of room left over for hidden details that not all players might notice on their first playthrough. Despite the meloncholy themes explored in the game, it was a very playful development process involving elaborate workarounds for seemingly simple problems.
